Abstract

9452854 Powe This proposal requests funding for the 1994 National EPSCoR Conference. The conference will be held in Jackson, Mississippi, on December 4-7, 1994. The conference will feature a poster session by the EPSCoR states. The program will include panelists, presentations, key speakers, and discussion sessions focusing on the theme, "EPSCoR: Policies to Build Science and Technology." Travel grants will be provided for up to five people from each EPSCoR state (exclusive of the Project Director and Project Administrator) who are influential in the development of science and technology infrastructure and programs. These may represent state government, academia, or the private sector. A conference proceedings will be prepared and distributed.
