Abstract

Characteristics of hydrolysis and absorption of mono-, di- and polysaccharides were studied in young children with hypotrophy of the alimentary and infectious genesis with the use of differentiated carbohydrate loadings. As a result of the study six variants of glycemic curves have been distinguished reflecting enteral assimilation of carbohydrates. They could be used for purposeful nutrition and correcting therapy of children with hypotrophy.
